EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Ali ibn Abi Talib, encourages us to ask Allah for guidance and righteousness. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to recite the supplication “Allahumma-hdini wa saddidni” which translates to “O Allah! Direct me to the Right Path and make me adhere to the Straight Path” or “Allahumma inni as'aluk-alhuda was-sadad” which translates to “I beg You for guidance and uprightness”. These supplications are a reminder that we should always seek help from our Creator in order to stay on the right path in life. We should not forget that only through His mercy can we find true success in this world and hereafter.
