Riyad as-Salihin 1495 (Book 16, Hadith 31) #37984
Answered Supplications of Muslims

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that when a Muslim makes a supplication for good for another Muslim, the angel appointed to this task will say "Ameen" and the supplication will be answered.

Abud-Darda' (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah said, "The supplication of a Muslim for his (Muslim) brother in his absence will certainly be answered. Everytime he makes a supplication for good for his brother, the angel appointed for this particular task says: 'A meen! May it be for you, too'". Muslim.

QUICK LESSONS:
Make sincere duas/supplications for other Muslims even if they are not present with you at the time .

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith of Abud-Darda’ teaches us about the power of supplications in Islam. When a Muslim makes a sincere prayer or supplication for another person, an angel is appointed to answer it. This means that our prayers are heard and can have an effect on other people's lives even if we are not present with them at the time. It also shows us how important it is to make dua for others, as we never know what kind of impact our words can have on someone else's life. Furthermore, this hadith reminds us that Allah listens to all our prayers and He answers them in His own way and time.
