EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith narrated by Ibn Mas'ud, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ explains what 'Al-'Adhu' or falsehood and slandering is. He states that it is calumny which means to make false accusations against someone without any proof or evidence. This type of behavior can cause a lot of harm to people's reputation as well as their relationships with others. It can also lead to feelings of anger and resentment between those involved in the situation. Therefore it is important for us to be aware of this type of behavior so that we can avoid engaging in it ourselves or being affected by it when others do so. We should also strive to protect our own reputation as well as those around us from such malicious acts by speaking out against them whenever possible.
