EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about expressing pleasure at the misfortune of a Muslim brother. It teaches us that we should not express joy or happiness when someone else experiences difficulty or hardship. This is because Allah may show mercy on them and make us suffer from a similar misfortune in return. We should instead feel compassion for our fellow Muslims and pray for their well-being. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also taught us to be kind to one another and help each other in times of need. He said that if we do this, then Allah will love us and forgive our sins. Therefore, it is important for all Muslims to remember this hadith whenever they are tempted to express pleasure at someone else's misfortunes.
