Moderation in Religion

SUMMARY: The religion of Islam is easy and should be followed in moderation. Seek help from Allah at dawn, dusk, and night.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet said, "The religion (of Islam) is easy, and whoever makes the religion a rigour, it will overpower him. So, follow a middle course (in worship); if you can't do this, do something near to it and give glad tidings and seek help (of Allah) at morn and at dusk and some part of night". Al-Bukhari.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ teaches us that the religion of Islam is easy to follow and should not be made into a burden. We should strive to follow it in moderation, but if we cannot do so then we should do something close to it. Additionally, we should seek help from Allah at dawn, dusk, and night as these are times when our prayers are more likely to be answered. This hadith encourages us to stay connected with Allah throughout the day for guidance and support.
