EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is teaching us about four major sins that we should avoid. The first sin is to associate partners with Allah. This means to believe in or worship any other god besides Allah. The second sin is to disobey our parents. We should always respect and obey our parents as much as possible unless they ask us to do something wrong or against the teachings of Islam. The third sin is murder which means taking someone else's life without a valid reason or permission from an Islamic court of law. Lastly, the fourth sin mentioned in this hadith is taking a false oath which means lying intentionally while swearing on something sacred like the Quran or God's name for personal gain or benefit. All these sins are considered major and must be avoided at all costs if we want to stay away from punishment from God in this world and hereafter.
