Retribution in the Cause of Allah

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) never took revenge on anyone for wrongs done to him, but he did fight in the cause of Allah and exact retribution for violations of Allah's injunctions.

'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: Messenger of Allah never hit anything with his hand neither a servant nor a woman but of course, he did fight in the Cause of Allah. He never took revenge upon anyone for the wrong done to him, but of course, he exacted retribution for the sake of Allah in case the Injunctions of Allah about unlawful acts were violated. Muslim.

QUICK LESSONS:
Leave matters up to God and His laws; strive to uphold justice by fighting against those who violate them; forgive others even if they have wronged you .
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about how the Prophet Muhammad never took revenge on anyone for wrongs done to him, but instead fought in the cause of Allah and exacted retribution when someone violated His injunctions. This teaches us that we should not take matters into our own hands when we are wronged, but instead leave it up to God and His laws. We should also strive to uphold justice by fighting against those who violate God's laws. It is important that we remember that even though we may feel anger or hurt from a situation, it is better to leave it up to God than take matters into our own hands.
