QUICK LESSONS:
Show patience when faced with an unfavorable ruler and remain part of the Muslim community.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Ibn 'Abbas, speaks to the importance of patience when faced with an unfavorable ruler. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that if a person notices something they do not like in their ruler, they should show patience and remain part of the Muslim community. He further explains that anyone who leaves this community will die as those who died during the Days of Ignorance before Islam was revealed. This hadith teaches us to remain patient and loyal to our faith even when faced with difficult situations or rulers we may disagree with. It also serves as a reminder that it is better to stay within our faith than leave it for any reason, as those who left were considered dead in terms of their spiritual life.
