EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith warns us against desiring a position of authority as it can lead to humiliation and remorse on the Day of Judgment. It is important to remember that Allah is the only one who has true power and authority over all things. We should not seek positions for our own gain or pride but instead strive for humility in all aspects. On the Day of Judgment, those who have sought positions out of pride or arrogance will be met with humiliation and regret for their actions. We should instead focus on doing good deeds that are pleasing to Allah in order to receive His mercy on that day.
