Do good deeds that are pleasing to Allah in order to receive His mercy on Judgement day.

This hadith warns us against desiring a position of authority as it can lead to humiliation and remorse on the Day of Judgment. We should not seek positions for our own gain or pride but instead strive for humility in all aspects. On the Day of Judgment, those who have sought positions out of pride or arrogance will be met with humiliation and regret for their actions. We should instead focus on doing good deeds that are pleasing to Allah in order to receive His mercy on that day.
