Take care of widows and poor people with sincerity; Help those who are less fortunate than you; Give charity whenever possible; Show compassion towards others; Be generous towards those in need; Be kind towards everyone regardless their social status.

This hadith, narrated by Abu Huraira, teaches us that taking care of those who are less fortunate than us is an act of worship. This includes looking after widows and poor people. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that this act is equal to fighting in the cause of Allah or praying and fasting all day. This means that it has great reward from Allah SWT if we do it with sincerity. We should strive to help those who are in need as much as we can, whether it be through providing them with food, clothing or shelter. Doing so will bring us closer to Allah SWT and increase our rewards on the Day of Judgment.
