Sahih al-Bukhari 5716 (Book 76, Hadith 33) #5484
The Power of Allah's Truth

SUMMARY: The Prophet (PBUH) advised a man to give his brother honey to drink when he had loose motions, but it made him worse. The Prophet (PBUH) then said that Allah's truth was proven and the brother's abdomen had lied.

Narrated Abu Sa'id: A man came to the prophet and said, 'My brother has got loose motions. The Prophet said, Let him drink honey". The man again (came) and said, 'I made him drink (honey) but that made him worse'. The Prophet said, 'Allah has said the Truth, and the 'Abdomen of your brother has told a lie".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the power of Allah's truth and how it can be proven even in seemingly small matters. In this case, a man came to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ asking for advice on how to help his brother who was suffering from loose motions. The Prophet ﷺ suggested giving him honey, but when that didn't work, he said that Allah's truth was proven and the brother's abdomen had lied. This teaches us that even in small matters like this one, we should trust in Allah and His wisdom as He knows best what is true or false. We should also remember that our own opinions may not always be correct and we should seek guidance from those who are more knowledgeable than us such as the Prophet ﷺ himself or other religious scholars.

This hadith also reminds us of the importance of seeking medical advice when necessary as well as trusting in Allah for healing and guidance at all times. We should never forget that ultimately it is only through His will that any healing can take place so we must always put our faith in Him first before anything else.
