QUICK LESSONS:
Seek protection in Allah through prayer & supplication before going to sleep each night

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was known for his exemplary character and behavior. He had a special ritual he would do before going to bed every night. This ritual included reciting two surahs from the Quran - Suratal Falaq and Surat an Nas - while blowing on his hands. After that he would pass his hands over himself as if blessing himself with protection from any harm or evil that may come upon him during the night. This is a reminder for us of how important it is to seek protection in Allah through prayer and supplication before we go to sleep each night. It also serves as an example of how we should strive to live our lives according to Islamic teachings in order for us to be successful both in this life and the hereafter.
