Believe only in one god and avoid any form of association or disbelief as it can have serious consequences for our afterlife .

This hadith speaks to the importance of belief in God and avoiding any form of unbelief or association with Him. It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah b. Mas'ud that Waki told him that the Messenger of Allah said “He who dies associating anything with Allah would enter the Fire” meaning those who die while believing in something other than God will be sent to hellfire. Abdullah b. Mas'ud then added “I say that he who died without associating anything with Allah entered Paradise” meaning those who die without believing in something other than God will be sent to paradise instead.
