As you read this I pray you and your family are healthy and in the best of spirits.

As a black man born in the 60’s my reality has been based upon balancing contrasts. In fact, the foundation of the black church has been based on the same theme.

Thus, as we all navigate this life, as believers, it should not be overlooked that the contrasts, in many cases, are now extremes.

The same world that says, “Allah exists,” now goes through extraordinary lengths to make a believer think, “Yes Allah exists, but He’s not enough.”

May Allah keep us steadfast in our faith, and His will. May Allah constantly, and mercifully remind us in all our highs and lows that his sustenance is all we should seek. Seek it.
