All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad (saw) is His slave and Messenger. Our advice to you is to avoid thinking about it or trying to guess the reason which led him to refuse to deal with you. Rather, you should be concerned with what benefits you.His desire not to deal with you does not mean that he is deserting you. Even if we presume that he is deserting you, you are not sinful as you are not the one who deserted him. If he has no reason to desert you, then he is sinful for doing so but you are not.The Hadeeth which you mentioned applies to the people who desert each other. Abu Ayyoob Al-Ansaari narrated that the Prophet (saw) said: "It is not permissible for a Muslim to desert his fellow Muslim for more than three days; they meet each other but each one refuses to speak to the other; and the best of them is the one who greets the other first." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]Allaah Knows best.
