I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad (saw) is His slave and Messenger.These expressions have no effect on the bond of marriage and the scholars clarified the words [or expressions] which lead to divorce; among which are clear words that lead to divorce without their need to be accompanied with the intention of divorce, and metaphors of divorce that do not lead to divorce unless they are accompanied with the intention of divorce.
