All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad (saw) is His slave and Messenger. Homosexuality is one of the most abominable and heinous sins. Indeed, Allaah condemned this act from the people of Lout (Lot) and He descended upon them a great punishment as Allaah Says (what means): {And We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay.}[Quran 15:74] For more benefit, please refer to Fatwa 88137. As regards the Hadeeth with the meaning that you mentioned in the question, then it was quoted by Ibn Al-Jawzi in his book "Thamm Al-Hawaa" and by Ath-Thahabi in his book "Al-Kabaair" started with the word "Rowiya [i.e. it was narrated]" which indicates that it is Dhaeef [weak]. Also, Ash-Shawkaani stated in his book "Al-Fawaaid Al-Majmouah Fil-Ahaadeeth Al-Mawdhooah" that it is a fabricated Hadeeth. Allaah Knows best.
