Topic: Age to Belief in One God
Question 2143: I wonder why age 25 somebody born to non muslim start seaching for what is the right religion?I beleive all of us just start beleiving in faith of our parents.I am a practising muslim but this query recently came in my mind for those who are away from any religion.

2143 Dear Br. A. As-salaamu alaykum. The belief in One God is within every human beings instinct and nature. As prophet Muhammad (pbuh) stated, it is the parents who change a childs true religion. But the drive to re-discover God, The One and Only One, is always revived within a human being at different stages in life. Some people discover the Unity of Allah at 15 while others at 75.
