Dear Br. Y. As-salaamu alaykum. The nearness of Allah Almighty to us is not a physical distance that we measure in kilometers or inches or miles. It is a nearness in Knowledge because Allah is All Knowledgeable and All Encompassing of all of our lives, even the minute things that we do. This is confirmed in the Qur'an in such verses as in Surah al-Mulk (67) verse 14: "Should not He Who has created know? And He is the Most Kind and Courteous (to His slaves) All Aware (of everything).
