Question 2292: Government owned National Lottery Board has announced grant funding to NGOs and Relegious organisations for any community development projects. Can Muslims apply for such Grant funds? If yes, on which such projects muslims could invest. If no? kindly explain the reasons. Appreciate if you could respond to this urgently as we have to apply for such grants before Dec31,1997.,should there be no objections for muslims seeking such grant funds.
