Question 1885: Is a muslim required to say Azan (or Iqamat) before praying Fardh salat, even if he's praying alone (ie without a congregation)?

1885 Dear K. As-salaamu alykum. Making Adhan and Iqama is a sunna that a Muslim is encouraged to perform. If the person doesnt do it, the prayer doesnt become invalid, but the reward is decreased for not performing this Sunna act. Thank you for asking and God knows best.
