Topic: Khutba: Jummah- need information

Question 6: Bismilahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalaamualaikum Dear Brother; I am trying to find a location on the net where I can download some information on leading the Khutbah Jumah and giving it. I am trying to find this information for a group of inmates in a local prison so that inshaAlla they will be able to lead their own Friday prayers. What we are looking for specifically is the dua that opens up the khutbah, the dua given befor the break in the middle, then the dua given at the end prior to starting the prayer. If you have this information avaliable that you could email to me or if you know where to find it on the web, please let me know via email. Wasallam; M. Khalil Islam

Dear Br. M. Khalil Islam: Assalamu Alikum... I am sorry to answer your question so late, I have been trying to locate a site on the net where you can find the information you need on leading the Jumuah prayers and giving the Khutba. Unfortunately, I was not lucky! What I did is find you the second best, i.e. some books on that which you can obtain and use. The books are a series of Khutbas on various topics offered by a very well known author and speaker, Br. Ahmad H. Sakr. The following are five titles:

1)Book of Al-Khutab.

2)Islamic Orations.

3)Orations from the Pulpit.

4)Chronicle of Khutab.

5)Friday Khutab.

These books are available from: Foundation for Islamic Knowledge, P.O.Box 665, Lombard, Illinois 60148.

I hope this will aide you in your efforts, may Allah (S.W.T.) bless you with the knowledge to teach His Deen, Ameen. My salam to you and to our brothers, the inmates, who Allah (S.W.T.) has guided to this religion. (Source: IslamiCity) Classified in Khutba > Jummah- need information
