Dear Br. As-Salaamu alaykum. The Khutbah does not need to be in Arabic. It is allowed to be presented in the language of the people who attend it because its real intent is to make people understand what the speakers wants to say. However, if the people are of mixed nationalities and some of them are of Arabic origin, then giving a portion of it in Arabic may be useful but not obligatory so that the non-Arabic speaking people get used to listening to the language and get encouraged to learn it since it is the best way to understand the religion. Regarding the last question, no, it is not possible that advanced people taught the Qur'an to the Muslims for so many reasons. First of all, the companions of prophet Muhammad(pbuh) used to be sometimes with him when he was receiving the revelation. They witnessed the process, described it very clearly, and there were scribes who wrote the words immediately. Their description, which even non-Muslim scholars who specialize in the collection of the Qur'an attest that it is authentic and not fabricated, shows that there were no strange creatures or beings coming from elsewhere. Second, you can analyze the style of the Qur'an to see that it is not man-made, rather, in many places, it is a direct address of God to his believers such as: 'O you who believe', or 'Say so and so' or 'Do this and that', 'In You (God) we believe and in You (God) we seek help, etc.. Third, if there were indeed people from another planet to teach us and were very advanced, then it is very strange to accept that their Arabic language was very compatible to the people of the land of Arabia, including their dialect which was very specific to that region. This is a highly unreasonable and unlikely explanation. In addition, the verses that carry scientific facts are just few in the Qur'an and are only meant to give us a reflection of the power of God. The Qur'an is not a science book. Thank you for asking and God knows best.
