Dear fredifreeloader!

Unfortunately we think that Islam is a lable. That is not true. Islam means complete submission to GOD, and that is what Jesus prophised.

Which he said in : Mathew-19: 17 , Mark 12:29,Mathew Ch.5 V.17 - 20.

He taught what all Prophets had taughet TO OBEY GOD.

Salam Alaikoam

I do not believe we can take on or take away other peoples sins other than to educate, counsel and consult so that behavior does not continue.

Certainly we can feel the impact of our sins on ourselves and see the impact on other people however we still cannot carry the burden for someone else.

Though we are forced sometimes to bare the impact of those sins it does not mean we can remove them or lighten the load for the sinner.

The only way we can lighten anyones load of sins including our own is with education, counseling and consultation in healthier boundaries, good communications skills, good conflict resolution skills and education in sexual health and coping with the stages and levels of various kinds of frustrations.

Judgement day passes in the moment we decide something needs attention & we take positive action. Then there will be a great sorting out of people into groups, Inspired by Surah 99 Ayat 1-8

ahmadjoyia - the quotation is from the holy scriptures - 1 corinthians 5: 21.  it refers to the sin-atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross, when he "his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness"  --1 peter 2: 24
for i am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth - romans 1: 16

Surprised!! Is this from Bible or some sayings of those who tried to kill Jesus? Is this an apology, an excuse or feeling of guilty to treat Jesus like that? Very strange indeed.

Dear brother Umaiyad! May peace and blessings be on you!

You are right that Jesus prophesied Islam. Not even Jesus prophesied Islam but all the Prophets of Allah prophesied Islam. Sura Al-Imran 3, verses 65-68, 65. O followers of the Book! why do you dispute about Ibrahim, when the Taurat and the Injeel were not revealed till after him; do you not then understand? 66. Behold! you are they who disputed about that of which you had knowledge; why then do you dispute about that of which you have no knowledge? And Allah knows while you do not know. 67. Ibrahim was neither a Jew nor a Christian but he was an absolutely devoted Muslim, and he was not one of the polytheists. 68. Most surely the nearest of people to Ibrahim are those who followed him and this Prophet and those who believe and Allah is the guardian of the believers.

Jesus was born amongst the Children of Israel but he was not a Jew as he didnt follow the set of belief system necessary to be termed as a Jew and neither he believed in the tribal god with the name of Yahweh who has no concern for rest of the human kind except for the Jews. This was the reason Jews tried to execute and crucify him.

Same is said in Sura Baqra-2, verses 135-140, And they say: Be Jews or Christians, you will be on the right course.  Say: Nay! (we follow) the religion of Ibrahim, (who was) absolutely devoted Muslim (Hanif), and he was not one of the polytheists....140.  Nay! do you say that Ibrahim and Ismail and Yaqoub and the tribes were Jews or Christians? Say: Are you better knowing or Allah? And who is more unjust than he who conceals the testimony that he received (in the Book) from Allah? And Allah is not at all unaware of what you do.

So Jesus said in Sura Maryum-19, verse-36, And surely Allah is my Lord and your Lord, therefore worship Him alone; this is the right path. Same wordings are contained in Gospel of Mathew-19: 17 And Jesus said unto him, Why thou callest me good? For there is none good, except One, that is God - And if you want to enter life, keep the commandments and Mark 12:29, .Hear Oh Israel, the Lord our God, is in one lord.

Muslim is not a label (as most Muslims and Non-Muslims believe) but it means one who submits himself to God and His commandments. Both Quran and Bible say that all the Prophets were Muslims as they submitted themselves to the Will of God.

Moreover Jesus was never the founder of Christianity neither ever did he said that I have brought a new religion to the Hebrews, he said, in the Gospel of Mathew Ch.5 V.17 - 20, Think not that I am come to destroy the law and the Prophets - I am come not to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, till the heaven and earth pass, one jot or one title shall not pass away from the law, until all be fulfilled. And whosoever therefore, shall break one of the least commandments and teach men to do so, will be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven. And whosoever shall keep them, and teach them so, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. For verily, unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the Scribes and the Pharisees, in no way shall you enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
