Issa, here's a few facts for you to digest.

You can talk it down all you want if it makes your angry, conspiracy theory thought processes flow smoother but that won't change the facts.

    The only legitimate claim is the one that can be made in the country of origin of the act. 
    IE if someone breaks a law in the uk, then that person will be judged by the people of the uk. not people from another country, after all, not everything which is a crime in one country is considered a crime in another country.
    For example selling cannbis is legal in the coffeeshops in Amsterdam, it is not legal in the UK.  Do people in the UK have the right to ask for the Amsterdam coffeeshop owner to be prosecuted?
     
    The saddest thing of all is the fact that the violence in Afghanistan is only harming the people of Afghanistan themselves, the preacher's sitting at home, his feet up, smoking a cigar, and smiling.
     
    Who are the fools? the preacher or the people in Afghanistan?

    I totally agree with you in principle, however is there no legitimate claim of responsibility whatsoever for the preacher's action?  The UK has a law against racial and religious hatred;  "A person who uses threatening words or behavior, or displays any written material which is threatening... if he intends thereby to stir up religious hatred".  I think Holocaust denial falls under this law.

    Your response about breaking laws in country of origin is known and understood, however my question is; does rhetoric have consequences and responsibilities?  Should the pastor be absolved of any and all responsibility for what has taken place as a result of his action?
