Muslim DO NOT and SHOULD NOT hate anyone, ANY HUMAN BEING including Jews.
Yes we allow to hate the action, the attitude not the person. |

This is a good question that I wondered about myself. So I looked it up in the Quran. I used the Noble Quran website.
The answer is that Allah hated Jews, so Muslims should also hate them. There are quite a few verses in the Quran that talks about the Jews in a hateful manner: "Fight those (Jews) who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled." Say, "Shall I inform you of [what is] worse than that as penalty from Allah ? [It is that of] those whom Allah has cursed (Jews) and with whom He became angry and made of them apes and pigs and slaves of Taghut. Those are worse in position and further astray from the sound way." "But the Jews and the Christians say, "We are the children of Allah and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Rather, you are human beings from among those He has created. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills." "And you will surely find them (Jews)the most greedy of people for life - [even] more than those who associate others with Allah. One of them wishes that he could be granted life a thousand years, but it would not remove him in the least from the [coming] punishment that he should be granted life. And Allah is Seeing of what they do." "O you who have believed, do not take as intimates those other than yourselves (pagans, Jews, Christians, and hypocrites), for they will not spare you [any] ruin. They wish you would have hardship. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater. We have certainly made clear to you the signs, if you will use reason." So here the pot of hatred is stirred. "Allah has certainly heard the statement of those [Jews] who said, "Indeed, Allah is poor, while we are rich." We will record what they said and their killing of the prophets without right and will say, "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire." Again we see incitement of hatred of Jews. "Among the Jews are those who distort words from their [proper] usages and say, "We hear and disobey" and "Hear but be not heard" and "Ra'ina," twisting their tongues and defaming the religion. And if they had said [instead], "We hear and obey" and "Wait for us [to understand]," it would have been better for them and more suitable. But Allah has cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not, except for a few." "And because of their (Jews) disbelief and uttering against Maryam (Mary) a grave false charge (that she has committed illegal sexual intercourse)" "O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies." "And you see many of them (Jews) hastening into sin and aggression and the devouring of [what is] unlawful. How wretched is what they have been doing." "And the Jews say, "The hand of Allah is chained." Chained are their hands, and cursed are they for what they say. Rather, both His hands are extended; He spends however He wills. And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. And We have cast among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they kindled the fire of war [against you], Allah extinguished it. And they strive throughout the land [causing] corruption, and Allah does not like corrupters." "You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews..." "We will recompense those who turn away from Our verses (Jews) with the worst of punishment for their having turned away." "And [mention] when your Lord declared that He would surely [continue to] send upon them (Jews) until the Day of Resurrection those who would afflict them with the worst torment." "They (Jews and Christians)want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it." "And He brought down those who supported them among the People of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) from their fortresses and cast terror into their hearts [so that] a party you killed, and you took captive a party." "And if We willed, We could have deformed them, [paralyzing them] in their places so they would not be able to proceed, nor could they return." And much more..... I will look in the hadiths next, but it is clear that the Quran incites hatred of Jews. Edited by Sunshine Always - 29 August 2014 at 3:13pm |

I looked briefly at the hadiths. There is more incitement of hatred for Jews.
Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 56, Number 791: Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: I heard Allah's Apostle [Muhammad] saying, "The Jews will fight with you, and you will be given victory over them so that a stone will say, 'O Muslim! There is a Jew behind me; kill him!' Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 52, Number 176: Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: Allah's Apostle said, "You (i.e. Muslims) will fight with the Jews till some of them will hide behind stones. The stones will (betray them) saying, 'O 'Abdullah (i.e. slave of Allah)! There is a Jew hiding behind me; so kill him.' Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 52, Number 177: Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him." Sahih Muslim, Book 041, Number 6981: Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger [Muhammad] (may peace be upon him) as saying: You will fight against the Jews and you will kill them until even a stone would say: Come here, Muslim, there is a Jew (hiding himself behind me); kill him.' Sahih Muslim, Book 041, Number 6983: Abdullah b. 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: You and the Jews would fight against one another until a stone would say: Muslim, here is a Jew behind me; come and kill him.' Sahih Muslim Book 041, Number 6985: Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews. Since Muslims follow the letter of the Quran and consider Muhammed to be a perfect example to follow, it seems clear that they would hate Jews after reading these things. |

This is a sad thing, because muslims and Jews are really quite similar in practice.
and they are also connected in ancestry. |

It seems self-proclaimed know-it-alls have come out in droves in recent days. They know nothing. They have never read the Quran, and yet they presume to tell others what it says. When we look at how "Sunshine Always" quotes the verses, we notice two things. First, he/she does not even provide the Surah and Ayat number. The reason becomes clear when we actually read some of the verses quoted above. For example, the first verse he/she quotes is from Surah Tawba, verse 29. Using the "Noble Quran" website, here is what the verse says: "Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled." Notice that the translation does not even mention the Jews. It mentions "those who were given the Scripture", which is a reference to both Jews and Christians. So why did "Sunshine Always" add "Jews" to it? In actuality, the verse was revealed with regard to the Byzantines, not the Jews. However, it was applied from that point on to include all non-Muslim nations which were hostile to Islam. The Byzantines had attacked the Muslims at Muta. Another example of "Sunshine Always" deceptive quoting of the Quran can be see in the following: "You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews..." Notice the ellipses. Why are they placed there? Well, obviously because "Sunshine Always" does not want people to read the rest of the verse. It is from Surah Al-Maeda, verse 82. Here is what it states: "You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah ; and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We are Christians." That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant." As can be seen, the Quran was stating that the early Muslims were facing the stiffest opposition from the Jews and the Mushrikin (idol worshipers) whereas many Christians were friendly towards them. This verse was specifically revealed with regard to the Negus of Abyssinia, who allowed some Muslims refugees fleeing persecution to settle in his country. The Negus also was brought to tears when he heard a verse talking about Jesus and Mary. When he died, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said the funeral prayer for him. We can see that this verse was criticizing the Jews for opposing the Messenger of Allah and the message of Islam. That is the context of the other verses. They are legitimate criticisms of the Jews of Arabia for their incessant opposition to the Muslims. Is criticism akin to "hatred"? Of course not. And of course, "Sunshine Always" has conveniently ignored all the other verses which tell Muslims to deal justly with all people, Christian and Jews included, as well as verses which differentiate between the "good" Jews and Christians and the "bad" ones. Here are some: "They are not [all] the same; among the People of the Scripture is a community standing [in obedience], reciting the verses of Allah during periods of the night and prostrating [in prayer]. They believe in Allah and the Last Day, and they enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and hasten to good deeds. And those are among the righteous." (Surah Al-Imran, 3:113-114) "And indeed, among the People of the Scripture are those who believe in Allah and what was revealed to you and what was revealed to them, [being] humbly submissive to Allah . They do not exchange the verses of Allah for a small price. Those will have their reward with their Lord. Indeed, Allah is swift in account." (Surah Al-Imran, 3:199) "And among the people of Moses is a community which guides by truth and by it establishes justice." (Surah Al-Araf, 7:159) "And [the believers among] those to whom We have given the [previous] Scripture rejoice at what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], but among the [opposing] factions are those who deny part of it. Say, "I have only been commanded to worship Allah and not associate [anything] with Him. To Him I invite, and to Him is my return."" (Surah Ar-Rad, 13:36) "And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. And our God and your God is one; and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him." (Surah Al-Ankaboot, 29:46) "Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly. Allah only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion - [forbids] that you make allies of them. And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers." (Surah Al-Mumtahanah, 60:8-9) As we can see, there is ample evidence from the Quran that Muslims are not to just hate people, whether Jews or anyone else. If "Sunshine Always" disagrees, then perhaps he/she can produce a verse which says that. We will wait here while you go search the "Noble Quran" website for such a verse. |

No, what seems clear is that these hadiths are all talking about a future war that will involve Jews and Muslims. Since it is well known that Muslims are forbidden to kill non-combatants, the above hadiths are referring to hostile Jews. Moreover, we can refer to early Islamic history to show how Jews were treated by Muslims. The first example we can refer to is the "Treaty of Medina" (also known as the "Constitution of Medina"). Here are some relevant excerpts: "Those Jews who follow the Believers will be helped and will be treated with equality. (Social, legal and economic equality is promised to all loyal citizens of the State). No Jew will be wronged for being a Jew. The enemies of the Jews who follow us will not be helped. The Jews will contribute towards the war when fighting alongside the Believers. The Jews of Bani Awf will be treated as one community with the Believers. The Jews have their religion. This will also apply to their freedmen. The exception will be those who act unjustly and sinfully. By so doing they wrong themselves and their families. The same applies to Jews of Bani Al-Najjar, Bani Al Harith, Bani Saeeda, Bani Jusham, Bani Al Aws, Thaalba, and the Jaffna, (a clan of the Bani Thaalba) and the Bani Al Shutayba." Where is the "hatred" of Jews? Second, let us refer to the case of Caliph Umar ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be please with him) and how he ended more than 500 years of Jewish exile from Jerusalem. When the Christians controlled the city, the Jews were banned from living there. But when the Muslims conquered the city in 637, Hazrat Umar allowed the Jews to return to the city, becoming the first ruler to do so since the Romans expelled the Jews in 70 CE. How many Christians rulers did that? In fact, Hazrat Umar's great compassion is one reason he is spoken of so highly in the Jewish sources. The Encyclopedia Judaica states the following about Umar: "A man of simple manners and approach, he adopted a humane attitude to non-Muslims as well, and earned the epithet of al-Fārūq ("he who can distinguish truth from falsehood"); according to one tradition, the Jews gave him that name. Balādhurī (d. 862) reports that the Jews of *Khaybar , the last Jewish community in the Hejaz, who had been permitted by *Muḥammad to remain on their land in exchange for one half of their yearly crop, were expelled to Tayma and Jericho by Omar; Ibn al-Athīr (Mosul, 11601233) adds that Omar reimbursed them with one half the value of their land. [] Omar permitted the Jews to reestablish their presence in Jerusalemafter a lapse of 500 yearsand also seems to have allotted them a place for prayers on the Temple Mount (from which they were driven out at a later date). Jewish tradition regards Omar as a benevolent ruler and the Midrash (Nistarot de-Rav Shimon bar Yoḥai) refers to him as a "friend of Israel." According to Ṭabarī, a Jewish sage told Omar that he was destined to become the ruler of the Holy Land." So, where is the "hatred" for Jews? Third, let us refer to the Ottoman Empire and how it provided safe haven for Jews fleeing Christian persecution during the Inquisition. According to Rachel Avraham of "Israel News": "The Ottoman Empire was a safe haven for the Jewish people, who experienced a golden age there similar to the Golden Age of Spain. During this period of history, Turkish-Jewish relations were phenomenal. It was a time of peace, prosperity, and serenity for Ottoman Jews." In fact, she notes that the Ottoman sultan Bayezid II specifically sent Kemal Reis "to save the Sephardic Jews of Spain from the Spanish Inquisition..." So, where is the "hatred" for Jews? Now, have there been instances where Jews and Muslims have fought against each other? Have there been cases where Muslims have persecuted Jews? Of course. An example is the reign of the Almohads, who ruled Spain for almost 50 years in the 12th century. As for the question of why there is so much animosity between Jews and Muslims currently (and there is such animosity), the answer is pretty simple. It is because of the conflict in Palestine and the oppression of the Palestinians by the apartheid state of Israel. Does that justify hatred on either side? Of course not! But that is the main reason why there is currently an atmosphere of hatred. But many Muslims who are critical of Israel (such as myself) make sure to differentiate between Zionism and Judaism. These are two different ideologies, as even many Jews note. For example, the organization "Netura Karta" is a Jewish organization which is vehemently opposed to Zionism and the state of Israel.
