Warning the following is just for thought purposes not to be actually done.... Have you ever had the use of only one hand, try tying your hand up in a sling and using only one and then tell me cutting a limb off is just!
Get a friend to throw a rock at your head and when it hits see if you learn how to change your behvior. Get a friend to flog you once and see if it really educates you how to change your understanding of why you did the behavior you did and see if it tells you new imformation so you can better cope with sexual frustration and learn healthy boundaries and good communication skills from this assault on your body. Violence teaches us nothing except how to be more aggressive and violent. Besides for some they may do the behavior just to get killed and end the suffering they are already experiencing from the hands of their husband or partner. I am not serious about you getting anyone to do those things this was for thought only not to be actually done.

Judgement day passes in the moment we decide something needs attention & we take positive action. Then there will be a great sorting out of people into groups, Inspired by Surah 99 Ayat 1-8

Al Salamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatu Allahi Wa Barakatuh. Sister, I am not taking the place of God and i would dare not. I am only supporting his commands. You worry about violence against a criminal. Why didn't the criminal worry about violence against his/her victims when the criminal commited the crime? Again if the criminal ends up with a hand cut off, it would only be because he risked it with full knowledge of the consquences. He doesn't get punished by surprise. Sedondly, please don't judge Islam by the actions of Muslims. No where in Islam does it say that Muslim men have the right to abuse their women. If Muslim men do that, their women have the right to divorce. If that isn't carried out by law, then this law doesn't follow Islamic rule. Thirdly, you say that no one should experience having a limb cut off of being flogged. To that i have to ask: what is this argument based on? A human's opinion? How can we gauaranttee that this opinion serves mankind im the best way possible? Is there any fact behind it? Can we trust a human's opinion over God's knowledge? On the other hand, cutting off the hand of a thief is based on God's command, which is backed up by His perfect knowledge, to which no one can prove wrong. Why should a female abuser be locked up for 10 years? Why not 5? Or 20 for that matter. What is your decision for an adequete punishment based on? I also need to remind you that in order to stop man from commiting a crime, s/he has to be warned by an extreme punishment in order to make them abstinate from doing that crime. And if they go ahead and commit the crime, then the punishment has to be carried out as promised or else everyone else will know that the warning was nothing but a bluff. Yes the world has to be brought together through love and hope, but some people prefer the easier more evil way. And these people have to be kept on bay. Education is not always the cure. Bush is well educated. Look at how his education helped the vicitims in Iraq. And again I ask you, how is councelling a murdering rapist fair to a family who lost their girl to that criminal? How is councelling a thief fair to a family who lost a member because this thief stole the money for this member's medicine for instance? I personally know of a case where a family member died from sorrow because he had all what he owned stolen off him. How is conselling the thief that commited that crime fair to the family that lost that person, and how is it fair to the person that died from sorrow? Compassion is a great virtue, but don't let it cross out justice. |

Lol..and one more thing...you don't need to warn so much against doing these things for real..makes me think that you think you're dealing with someone really slow. ;) Edited by AhmedNagi |

If its His will, .... and how many people abuse this phrase!!! Things are not always what they seem. An action that may seem as being an extreme one can be what is best for mankind overall throughout history. [/QUOTE] really ?? so one being put on death row/hanged for having drugs while another gets virtually free or limited time in prison for murder then set free is good for mankind. really the extreme is really good, tell me why I don't believe this?! |

Al Salamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatu Allahi Wa Barakatuh, Who said that people should get away with murder by getting jailed for a limited time? In Islam they should get capital punishment. It's part of shari'a. How can I be abusing the phrase 'this is God's will' when there are direct hadeeths and verses in the quran stating that these punishments are decreed by God? Narrated 'Aisha: The Prophet said, "The hand should be cut off for stealing something that is worth a quarter of a Dinar or more." Narrated Anas The Prophet said, "The prescribed Law of Allah is the equality in punishment (i.e. Al-Qisas)." (In cases of murders, etc.) 17:33 Nor take life - which Allah made sacred - except for just cause. And if anyone is slain wrongfully, we have given his heir authority (to demand qisas or forgive): but let him not exceed bounds in the matter of taking life; for he is helped (by the Law). If we believe that the Quran is God's word and that Hadeeth supports Quran and it has to be followed just as the Quran is, then how much more proof do we need to know that it is God's will to carry out these punishments? Who are we to evolve God's will or decide for God that he wants otherwise? And most importantly, who are we to realise that what God, the Almighty, the Perfect, dictates needs imrpovement with time? |
