Anne Marie, You are becoming like a needle stuck in the grove of a scratched record. Many here have tried to reason with you, tried to warn you of the wrong path you are taking, but you do not seem to want to listen. "Whether we call the process Islam or Life really is not important..." Actually, it is of the utmost importance. You are hijacking the name of a religion and using it to lead people astray by portraying Islam as something that it is not! "Hast thou not turned thy vision to those who have changed the favour of Allah into blasphemy and caused their people to descend to the House of Perdition? - Into Hell? They will burn therein - an evil place to stay in! And they set up (idols) as equal to Allah, to mislead (men) from the Path! Say: 'Enjoy (your brief power)! But, verily, ye are making straightway for Hell!" Qur'an surah Ibrahim 14:28-30 Please quit calling your man-made "religion" Islam! Peace, ummziba. |

I am not leading anyone astray when I say Life and Islam are the same. Life and Islam are always evolving and developing better ways of communicating, educating, nurturing and encouraging each of us to be better people and this process is called both Life and Islam. Also there are laws in Life and Islam that need adjusting as they do not abide by the human rights act and education, counseling and consultation are true justice. There is no justice in being stoned to death, having ones hands cut off or tortured in any other way to address particular crimes, the only justice, true justice is education, training, counseling and consultation and a world ready and prepared to nurture, guide and protect all of the people not just some of the people. If we want there to be less crime in the world then there are issues that need to be addressed and attitude is one of them, as well as more sharing and caring so that everyone is educated to their ability and employed in work that can maintain themselves and their families in affordable housing and access to the other things that make life liveable like good food and healthy relationships, open lines of communication and community supports, such as child care and medical attention. Islam is not contained souly in books Islam is Life itself and as such both are always in the process of change and evolution towards healthier, happier ways of resolving challenges and encouraging the empowerment of all beings seen and unseen and affirmations of Faith. If you understand what I have shared that is wonderful and if not then consider it for awhile longer in the end you are welcome to take or leave these thoughts. May Allah Bless you all Abundantly! Judgement day passes in the moment we decide something needs attention & we take positive action. Then there will be a great sorting out of people into groups, Inspired by Surah 99 Ayat 1-8

>>>>There is no justice in being stoned to death, having ones hands cut off or tortured in any other way to address particular crimes, the only justice, true justice is education, training, counseling and consultation and a world ready and prepared to nurture, guide and protect all of the people not just some of the people.<<<< Every society has laws and guidelines that its adherents live by and if those laws are transgressed by lawless individuals then there should be punishments fitting the crime. Now Annie in response to your post above I would say that your statment is appropriate HOWEVER I believe the Qur'an has made it clear that it (The Qur'an) serves as a guideline for humanity especially for practicing Muslims. With that said along with other supplimental texts (AHadith) those guidelines are set along with their consequences. When you mention that there is injustice in the cutting off the hands I would disagree with you. If the laws are stated clearly and the consequences are stated clearly what's unjust about that? If the Islamic judicial system is practiced upon Quranic law what injustice is there if the Qur'an is perfect? Do you deny the Qur'an not being perfect? If you do then not only would you statement above is understandable but its also understandable (and clear) that you're not a practicing Muslim either and with that its understandable that you would hold the Qur'an as imperfect as you would think Islam is. Let me remind the believers that Islam is not like a biology study. allah's will never changes nor does Allah change. However I would say that life grows from an UNCHANGED foundation. |

Bi ismillahir rahmanir raheem
assalamu alaikum Israfil, i have met a few Bahai and some i would consider friends. So i know Bahai mentality and way of thinking as i have dealt with it, its very genralised and a step back from actual reality. This is the Interaith section so Anne has the right to discuss her beliefs here, what is not welcome is diguising them as Islamic beliefs. you should come out and clearly say you are not a muslim no faith is built on deception except a false faith. what is the human rights act, is that like the U.N decleration of basic human rights? You are talking about man made set of rules the Quran is not man made and enternal, how can something man made ever be compared with the word of Allah? Anne the truth is reached by considering these points not ignoring them. |

Alaikoam Salam Brothers and Sisters Though you may not understand or agree I see Islam in all things and believe it is a process we all are in regardless of our choosen spiritual path or appeared lack of such and that We are all Muslims. It is my belief that none of us are excluded from Islam or Life and that we are all called to be Messengers of Allah, God and the Creator and as such Messengers we all need excellent education, training, counseling, consultation and guidance to be the best people we can be. Islam is a process that transends all Life and is expressed in all life. Islam does not belong to one person or even a group of people, Islam belongs to everyone and everyone belongs to Islam. To establish Jannah in this life or Heaven on Earth and within each of us there are elements that need to be brought to the table for everyone and everyone needs to come to the table to share in the responsibilities of positive change. Also there are some laws that need to be changed as they are no longer considered to be a wise or Islamic approach to resolving issues of crime or injustice. If we want humanity to be more respectful we have to respect them as well and appreciate some choices have been made due to a lack of knowledge and education or training and therefore some punishments do not fit the crime. If we want hope to exist in the world and within humanity then we must build on the hope that there is already and provide the needed resources and resource material to resolve what ever challenges there are peacefully and respectfully. So I am not speaking outside of Islam if anything I am speaking from the source of it. There is hope and it begins with each of us. Inshallah there will be a greater sorting out into groups and in time Jannah in this Life and Ourselves. Anne Marie Elderkin Habibi
