Love Islam?

it's ok steve, you are entitled to how you feel, like these guys here are but its no reason to make fun of a serious situation that you feel you are in.

Anyway, there is nothing wrong or stupid if a 40 year old man is afraid to walk down the street, at least you had guts to mention that you are, not many men would own up and say they are afraid of something  

Depressive, let me tell you something about pain.

Pain is a warning signal, that you are doing something that is harmful to yourself. For instance when you put your hand in the fire it hurts so you take it out of the fire. Because if you did not feel pain you would damage your self even worse.

So atleast you are not numb so trust on Him that He will guide you to His eternal peace. He is The Merciful, even when He created pain.

Reguardless of what some moslems who do not govern their life by love may do, ISLAM is still the religion of peace. and to stereotype an entire faith based off the actions of a few is truely an act of simpletons.

have to say steve, there is an unreasonable amount of fear in american culture as a whole. terrorists do stuff cos they're fired up angry young men who've got everything out of proportion..so look out for people like that..not just any random muslim..any culture can produce a terrorist..gaybashers (as we had here in londons soho bombing), nationalists even animal rights campigners.  also try watching a real news stations as opposed to weirdo propaganda ones like abc..that stations a joke..its like reading a tabloid newspaper.

try and assess each person individually..is your brother a fired up angry young man with poor reasoning skills? if so then yes be wary..if not then chill out and show some of that christian compassion.
