May Allah subhan wa tahala save us once again from the Envy of the Kuffar and the darkness they wish to mislead the Muslims towards.

If you use physics to try to show that God exists you will have problems with other people who know more physics than you. For example the idea of energy being similar to the idea of a soul is wrong. Us humans are not a sealed system and we get energy in when we digest food and give out energy when we do work and give off heat. Energy comes and goes for us. The next trouble with using physics is that we know that physics has not finished, it's not 100% correct. It's very good, it's how we can build jet planes and have satelites that make the GPS systems work. But we know that there are loads of questions about the nature of the universe that it simply has no answer for yet. The ideas that produce extremely good models of the very big and very fast are different to the models which work very well for the very small. The real universe has just the one set of rules. That we have not found how these 2 different sets work together is the big problem facing physics today. One day somebody will come along with a new idea which will change the way they look at nature just as Einstein did, just as Newton did before him and just as Galileo did before him. Thne any basis you have constructed based on today's physics will fall down. |

In your contribution you criticize the scientific soundness of Polarbear1981's post. But what you add is by no means more scientific: - Where does science talk of souls? Can you show me at least one scientific article (in a renowned journal) doing so ? - Can you be more specific about your battery/soul comparison ? - Could you explain which form of energy "the soul" uses: electric, mechanical, gravitational or other ? - What are your [scientific] sources on this subject ? The word God is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses (Albert Einstein 1954, in his "Gods Letter")

Actually, there is a simple mathematical (statistical) proof of 'god', but it is a very unsatisfying proof as it doesn't have any relationship to the gods of the Bible, Qur'an, Hindu scriptures, or any other known religion.
First prove we are living in a "simulation" (search online for this), and 'god' becomes whoever/whatever created or is running the simulation. It also doesn't say anything about whether 'god' ever listens to individuals or ever takes any direct action in the affairs of the world/universe. The proof is compelling but the result doesn't seem at all satisfying, especially to those who seek the 'god' of their own religion. |
