""And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them sinful desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of Allah." And whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allah has certainly sustained a clear loss." [Quran 4:119]

Tattoos are considered haram. Tattoos involve permanently altering the natural form of the body, which is seen as disrespectful to the creation of Allah. The verse you mentioned highlights the concept of not altering the creation of Allah. Tattoos have historically been associated with non-Muslim cultures, and imitating such practices is discouraged in Islam. Having tattoos doesn't prevent someone from going to the mosque. Mosques are open to all muslims regardless of their physical appearance or past actions. However, it's important to respect the sanctity of the mosque and adhere to the guidelines of modesty and cleanliness when visiting.

Tattoos are generally considered haram (forbidden) due to the prohibition against altering the natural creation of Allah. The Quranic verse you mentioned highlights the concept of not changing the creation of Allah, which is understood to include tattoos. However, opinions on this issue may vary among scholars, with some allowing exceptions for medical or cosmetic reasons. It's essential to seek guidance from knowledgeable scholars and consider individual circumstances when determining the permissibility of tattoos in Islam.
